Yes we do use take-away cups in the Espresso bar but this doesn't mean we don't care about  our planet. We serve in 100% biodegradable AND compostable biocups and lids and if you drink in with us, the cups are collected and sent to Palmerston North City Council for commercial composting.

We don't use many straws but they too are PLA biolplastic, available on request.

The Anchor milk we use is organic, sourced from local Organic Farmers who supply Fonterra.

100% plastic free

What are our cups made of ? Well, the linings and lids are made of natural PLA, a plant-based bioplastic (Polylactic Acid). The paper used in the cups is sourced from managed plantations which are certified PEFC and the lids are made of Ingeo™ biopolymer (corn starch).

Recycle that plastic

Our empty Anchor plastic milk bottles are also collected and taken away by Anchor, for recycling- and its always good to see a milk crate that comes back made from some of our bottles!
